Kerala Confirms Third Case of Coronavirus

After the confirmation of two novel coronavirus cases in Kerala, the third case of novel coronavirus in India has also been reported in the state. The state government of Kerala has announced high alert with the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the state.

The patient who has been tested positive of the coronavirus is said to be currently undergoing treatment in the Kanjangad District Hospital in Kasaragod. The condition of the patient has been announced to be stable.

The patient is said to be kept in isolation in the hospital and is being monitored closely.

The patient has been identified as a student with a recent travel history from the city of Wuhan in China.

The health minister of the state of Kerala K. K. Shailaja has confirmed the third case that has been tested positive for the coronavirus on Monday. She added saying that the patient is under isolation and mentioned the condition of the patient being stable.


The coronavirus which is an infectious disease has been responsible for killing over 350 people in China with Wuhan which is a city of China being the epicenter for the dangerous outbreak.

The government of Kerala has initiated to set up isolation centers at all the government as well as private hospitals around the state and to conduct seminars and discussions at all the schools of the state in order to create and spread awareness regarding the deadly coronavirus.
