The apex cricket board in India is planning to improve Team india’s performance everywhere with good consistency, it has approached cricket legends Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly with ideas in line with the Australian board.
BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur reportedly negotiated with these formar skippers of Indian Team along side with the proposals. According to the reports, Ganguly has accepted the offer “High Performance Manager of Team India”, while former cricketer and MP Sachin Tendulkar has agreed in principle for the special positions to encourage new generation and to train the squad.
Reports, mentioned that the Little Master was offered a position to upgrade the National Cricket Academy from a rehabilitation center to a world-class training and research facility. The legend has to shine the out-of-form cricketers too.
The board reportedly wanted Dravid as the Talent Development Manager, based in Bangalore. His responsibilities would include, identifying talent for the national team, working closely with the Under-19 team and working with the NCA.
As per media reports, Dravid has to give his nod, but he is expected to open his mouth once he is clear with the assignments and role.
