The 5-hour long siege and attack ended in Kabul, the gunmen reportedly killed over 10 people including seven foreigners. The U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan has confirmed that one American was among the killed.

The Afghan Police department expected to brief about the developments of the attack and the details of casualties in an attack on the famous guest house for foreigners in Kabul’s elite area. According to the reports, at least 16 people were rescued, while about 100 people suffered the hostage.

Some reports mentioned that two Indian nationals were among the 7 foreigners who were reportedly killed in the attack.
