The Indian government has increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) for central government employees by 3%, bringing the total DA to 53% of their basic pay. This additional amount will provide crucial financial support to the employees just before the Diwali festival. The government will also provide the revised DA, along with three months of arrears, in the October salary.
