Queen turned into cartoon character for  The Birthday Crown

The Queen turned into a cartoon character for the new  children’s book named 'The Birthday Crown'. The story book will be sold in Royal palaces. The Children’s book  includes a story of The Queen’s search for the perfect crown to wear on her 90th birthday.

In the story book, The Queen seeks suggestions for the crown from  jewellers, royal staff and gardeners, but in last her grandson offers the perfect crown to her. He offers a self made paper crown to The Queen.

The book will be on sale at  Kensington Palace and  Buckingham Palace from  April 12 ahead of the  90th birthday of  The Queen on April 21.

The hardback book will be published by the Royal Collection Trust and will cost £12.95. The book has been written by  David Cali with illustrations by Kate Slater.

Publisher Jacky Colliss Harvey,  said that, “We hope that children and adults alike will enjoy David Cali’s charming story about a very special birthday, brought to life through Kate Slater’s highly original collage illustrations.”
