Do you believe in life after death? Well this may shake your belief. A Romanian woman claims that her dead grandmother has been trying to contact her via selfie.

Gina Mihai says that her dead grandmother has tried to get in touch with her from beyond the grave. One day Mihai found a picture of her grandmother on her mobile phone.

The 34-year old Romanian woman feels that her deceased grandmother is probably asking for help. Gina took the selfie to a fortune teller, who told her that her grandmother is getting punished ‘in the other life’.

After this incident locals in the south-eastern part of the country have been praying on behalf of Mrs Mihai in the churches of Scurtesti.

Mihai says she was horrified to see the her dead grandmother's selfie when she switched on the phone.

It seemed, there was a snake around her grandmother's neck. The picture looked as if it had been shot from a hole, through a fabric tear that separates the living from the dead., added Gina Mihai.

Gina was worried about the image and what it meant. So she took it to a fortune teller who informed her that her deceased grandmother was trying to send a message to Mihai. The snake around her neck was an indication of her being punished in the other life, probably for some sins.

The Romanian woman feels she may be partly responsible for her grandmother’s plight as she had not taken food to her grave. Romanians follow the traditional of taking food to the grave during the Romanian feast of service of alms.
