Would you care to plunge into a lake before taking the wedding vows in all your finery? Heaven forbid! Most of us would have the same shuddering expression. But a wedding party in central Minnesota had the misfortune of getting soaked in a lake even before the actual event started.

The entire episode was that of a wedding photo shoot gone wrong. The bride and groom plunged into the lake, along with the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

Dan and Jackie Anderson were standing on a dock for a photo shoot about an hour before the wedding was scheduled in Crosslake. All the bridesmaids and groomsmen were lined up along with the bride and groom for the photo shoot.

But the dock could not hold the weight of all the 22 people and collapsed into the lake. In went the entire wedding party into the lake in their finery.

Only a few bridesmaids were able to run off the dock. Other landed in waist- or chest-deep water.

And when the guests arrived for the wedding, the bride, groom and the entire wedding party were still trying to dry themselves. 

What adventure? The wedding party will surely remember Dan and Jackie Anderson's wedding day for their entire life.
