After hogging the limelight for all the wrong reason the medical student auctioning her virginity has withdrawn from the sale. Inspite of attracting a bid of $801k (£473k), the 28-year-old blonde pulled out of the auction.

Her blog post said that she was pulling out of it to concentrate on her medical training by putting an end to the kerfuffle (to describe it nicely).

The shocking U-turn came only a week after the blonde medical student  revealed her face.

The virgin medical student launched her controversial auction in March. At that time she had claimed that her virginity auction was ‘a unique opportunity for excitement and growth’.

Besides it would be a nice financial bonus,’ said the medical student who called herself Elizabeth Raine.

However, her recent posts had acquired a political stance. Recently, Raine wrote that her auctioning  no longer had to do much with money. Rather, it's related to society that constantly tries to control female sexuality and talks of female morality.

In an anti-climax, she signed off her post ‘Elizabeth’, saying that she is ending her virginity auction and hopes the bidders aren't too disappointed.
