A charity shop attracted droves of would-be brides to buy designer wedding dresses at a fraction of the original price. Customers flocked the Naomi House store for a great bargain when it put up the outfits on sale at just a fraction of their true value, according to the mirror.co.uk.
The charity shop got bridal dresses on donation, which were valued at £40,000. Brides were able to get designer wedding gowns at a great bargain following the donation of 35 dresses by the store which was closing for some reason. The bridal store had even donated some designer gowns that were valued £2,000.
The pretty bridal dresses are being sold at the Naomi House children’s hospice shop in Winchester, Hants for a price of £100 to £400. Andrea Balmer, the Manager of the charity shop said that they had already sold six dresses, raising an amount of £1,800. The sale of the outfits is wonderful for the charity and everybody is happy.
