Steve Martin is likely to appear in Disney's 'Magic Camp'. The actor-comedian is in talks to star in the upcoming film. Disney studio has described the film as a family comedy.

Steve Martin has written the script along with filmmaker Stu Zicherman. If Martin joins the cast his involvement with the project will be deepened.

Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah had originally written the script for the project. Now Sachs and Judah are the producers of 'Magic Camp'.

The story centres around an upright banker who goes back to Magic Camp, a place he attended as a shy child. But now as a counselor he has the mission to improve kids' lives, while aiming for the ultimate prize of the Golden Wand competition.

The director for the project is yet to be finalised.

Steve Martin had last appeared as an actor in 2011 comedy 'The Big Year', co-staring Jack Black and Owen Wilson.
