Fans of the 'Bourne' spy saga will now have to wait for much longer to watch next instalment of the series. The fifth instalment of 'Bourne' movie will be be delayed by a year.
The Bourne spy film will release on Friday, July 15, 2016, instead of the original schedule of August 14, 2015. Universal Studios made the adjustment for the release of "Straight Outta Compton," which is a biopic on the rise and fall of N.W.A.
The next 'Bourne' film will see the return of Jeremy Renner playing the lead role of Aaron Cross.
The untitled tentpole is being produced by Frank Marshall along with Ben Smith and Jeffrey Weiner for Captivate Entertainment. Lin is also producing for his Perfect Storm Entertainment.
Straight Outta Compton is produced by original N.W.A members Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, alongside producers Matt Alvarez and Tomica Woods-Wright.
F. Gary Gray is directing 'Straight Outta Compton'. The film features O'Shea Jackson Jr. as Ice Cube, Corey Hawkins as Dr. Dre and Jason Mitchell as Eazy-E.
'Bourne' will have a face off with 'Ice Age 5' on its new release date of July 15, 2016.
