Luke Bracey is all set to star in Alcon’s remake of 'Point Break'. Bracey will feature opposite Gerard Butler who is already a part of the project.
Bracey will portray the role FBI agent Johnny Utah while Butler will play Bodhi. Johnny Utah's role was originally played by Keanu Reeves.
The characters in the original movie had played pioneering roles that influenced action movies in the 1990s.
Directed by Ericson Core, the script of the film has been written by Kurt Wimmer. The filmmakers have plans to begin shooting this summer.
'Point Break' will be produced by Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson along with John Baldecchi, Michael DeLuca, Wimmer and Chris Taylor.
