Robert Knepper has been offered a role in the film "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay". The science fiction based adventure movie will have two parts, and Knepper will feature in both parts, reported aceshowbiz.com. The 54-year-old actor will play the role of Antonius in the film. He last starred in "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters".

Both the parts, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1" and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2", will be filmed in Atlanta, that too back-to-back. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1" is scheduled for release on Nov 21, 2014, followed by "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2", which is slated for release in November 2015.

Francis Lawrence will direct both the parts of the science fiction movie. Lawrence had also directed "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire".
