Want to try something spicy and tempting dish? Then try this Green pea and Raw Banana Sabzi which is spicy, tasty, and mouth-watering dish. This dish has a nice blend of spices and also an amazing combination of green pea and raw banana. This is perfect when you have a sudden guest in your home. This goes well with rice or roti.


-3 cups raw bananas, peeled and cut into cubes
-1 1/2 cups boiled green peas
-2 tsp oil
-1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
-1 1/2 tsp green chili paste
-1/4 cup freshly grated coconut
-1/4 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
-2 tsp lemon juice
-2 tsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
-1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
-salt to taste


1.In a bowl, add banana cubes, and salt and mix it well and then steam it in a steamer for 7 minutes and keep it aside.
2.Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds and when the seeds crackle, add green chili paste, grated coconut, coriander- cumin powder, turmeric powder, mix it gently.
3.Then add the steamed, raw banana and mix it nicely with the masala and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes and stir occasionally.
4.Switch off the flame and serve it with rice or roti.
