BMW ‘i8’ launched in Indian MarketBusiness News

The BMW ‘i8’, BMW’s first hybrid sports car which is approximated at Rs.2.29 crore was launched in Indian market on Wednesday. This sports car featured  in Tom Cruise’s ‘Mission Impossible 4’. This is the first launch for the company this year and there are 14 more launches for this year.

The i8 version of BMW delivers a power of 362 horse power and races from 0 to 100 km/h in 44 seconds using all the four wheels in the process. The mileage of the car is estimated at 47.45 km/l, which is the best any car offers at the moment in India.

The 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine car can be driven in five modes-COMFORT, ECO, PRO, SPORT, eDRIVE with an option of COMFORT and ECO PRO
