We all know that Hrithik Roshan opted out of Karan Johar's 'Shuddhi' due to health reasons. However, rumours are abuzz that the underlying reason is something else.

Our grapevine says that Hrithik was unhappy with the profit-sharing deal between himself and KJo. So the saying that the root of all evil is the lack of money holds true after all.

According to reports, Roshan Jr. wanted 40 % of the total profit from the film. However, Karan Johar disagreed. So Hrithik walked out of 'Shuddhi'.

Karan Johar's magnum opus initially had Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. Due to the repeated delays in the project Kareena walked out of the project. Soon the Greek God also moved out sighting health reasons.

Since then several names have been doing the rounds for the role of lead actors in Karan Johar’s ambitious project. The star cast is yet to be finalised.

However, Karan Johar maintains that 'Shuddhi' will be released in 2015.
