More hurdles for Sunny Deol starrer Singh Saab The Great! The film, which releases worldwide this Friday, has apparently displeased a few members from Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC), who have objected to a sequence where he takes off his turban to save the life of a child. The board members have asked Anil Sharma to edit the scene as they fear it might offend religious sentiments.

Says the source, "When some panel members objected to the scene, director Anil Sharma fought back arguing that every religion preaches protection of children and women from danger. In fact, a woman panelist from the Board even pointed out that women are known to take off their saris to save endangered lives from plunging to death."

However, the Board was quite stern in its decision and so was Sharma who refused to comply. Reportedly, Sharma escalated the matter to the Revising Committee of the CBFC, and the ‘objectionable’ scene has now been cleared with a ‘UA’ certificate.

A few members had also objected to the ‘Singh’ in the title, debating that might offend the Sikhs. But the unrelenting Sharma fought back saying proper names cannot be patented for religious or cultural purposes.
