Bollywood Bhai Salman Khan who has been accused in 2002 Hit and Run case has been convicted today. The Mumbai Sessions Court Judge DW Deshpande has announced that Salman Khan has been guilty in this case and he was under the influence of alchol when he was driving the car. When asked Salman stayed calm in the dock without speaking much and he was listening to the verdict of the judge. The court also revealed that Salman Khan had no driving license when the incident happened. The blood reports clearly mentioned that he was under the influence of alcohol.

The final verdict in this case along with the terms will be announced soon by the Mumbai Sessions court. However the prosecution and the defence will have time to argue and discuss about the possibilities of the jail term. This is a huge shock to Bollywood which will lead to a loss of over Rs 200 crores. He is currently shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Kashmir before he reached Mumbai for the final verdict. Kabir Khan is directing the movie and Kareena Kapoor Khan is the director. The movie is in final stages of shoot which has been slated for release in July during Eid. He is also shooting for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in the direction of Sooraj R Barjatiya.
