In the past weeks, there has been a lot of back-and-forth on Armaan Kohli and Tanishaa Mukerji's relationship status.

Initially, there were reports about their break-up, followed by singer Mika Singh's big revelation on Twitter on the two tying the knot soon. Not just that, the two put in a public appearance at Armaan’s dad’s birthday bash, and posed for lovey-dovey pics. However, now it seems that they have truly parted ways and we have an official confirmation on that.

Today Tanishaa’s spokesperson released an official statement, stating that:

“While many have been confused on the status of Tanishaa and Armaan’s relationship, the true news for this couple’s fans unfortunately is that the two have split up. Last week, right after publications started printing about their break up, tweets on social networking websites led to a confusion on the couple’s official status. While many publications have been carrying news on a so-called wedding being planned, the real story is that the couple is no longer together.”

So why the sudden split, you may ask? Tanishaa and Armaan were as different as chalk and cheese. After the many ups and downs in the past one year, they realized that they were just not meant to be.

However, unlike most Bollywood break-ups, where there is a lot of bad blood spilled, the two have parted cordially. Hence, the two were seen together on Armaan dad's birthday.

With their career graphs moving north, both Tanishaa and Armaan have decided to focus on work.

While Tanishaa is busy in launching her production house, T.Mukerji along with her mother Tanuja, Armaan on the other hand has been prepping for his upcoming comeback in films.”

The couple came close in 'Bigg Boss 7', “but it looks like their journey together was unfortunately meant to be short-lived.”
