What's with Karan Johar these days? Post rumors of his fallout with bestie Shah Rukh Khan, he has been on a signing spree.

But what's more alarming here is that he has gone ahead to sign all SRK's rivals like Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan for his upcoming ventures. But that isn't all.

The latest we hear is that the producer-director has roped in Akshay Kumar for his next project “Brothers”.

The film, slated to hit the theaters on October 2 next year, will be Akshay's first film with KJo.

An SRK loyalist so far, Karan Johar had preferred to do films with only Shah Rukh Khan until now. However, that long-set tradition seems to be waning now.

“My first association with Karan Johar. “BROTHERS” Directed by Karan Malhotra with @S1dharthM @Asli_Jacqueline & Jackie Shroff. OCT 2nd 2015,” Akshay posted on Twitter.

Akshay, 46, who appeared on the last season of Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’, is currently working on ‘Shaukeen’ remake.

Meanwhile, Johar is planning to wind up with his ‘Shuddhi’ with Salman Khan before starting “Brothers”.
