Nothing is permanent in Bollywood, not even friendships and film deals.

Earlier the big buzz was that Karan Johar's ambitious next "Shuddhi" will star long-lost friends Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor together. But seems, all that is changed now.

Buzz is that KJo is reluctant to cast Kareena in the film post her “Gori Tere Pyaar Mein” debacle and is rather banking on B-Town's most saleable heroine of this hour-— Deepika Padukone for the same.

While Kareena affirms that she is still very much a part of “Shuddhi”, we fear that she has been replaced by Deepika.

"It's true, she has been approached. However, she still needs to read the script and take a decision,” a source close to the project has confirmed.

This isn't the first time that Kareena has lost a movie to a competitor. Previously, she had to step down fron Sanjay Leela Bhansali's “Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ram Leela” owing to date issues. Seems even this time, Kareena is struggling to offer bulk dates to KJo.

If Deepika accepts the offer, then this would be the biggest replacement of the season. Also, with the lead pairing of Hrithik-Kareena being the main USP of the film, wonder is this last moment change could be a game-changer move for the makers.
