2024 BJP Manifesto Highlights

The BJP recently revealed its election manifesto, known as the “Sankalp Patra," in the presence of notable figures such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. The manifesto, titled "Sankalp Patra," includes plans to implement a unified electoral roll system and a single election for the entire nation. Additionally, the BJP vows to address the issue of exam paper leaks by enacting a new law. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh led the manifesto committee, which held two meetings to gather input. Over 1.5 million recommendations were received, with 400,000 coming from the NaMo app and 1.1 million submitted through videos.

According to ANI, the Election Manifesto Committee consists of 27 members, with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh serving as the chairman. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was appointed as the coordinator, and Union Minister Piyush Goyal was named the co-coordinator. The remaining 24 members were also included in the committee. The BJP aims to pursue policies that prioritize national interests, guided by the principle of Vishwa Bandhu. Meanwhile, the Congress party pledges to focus more on neighboring countries.
