Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi took a jibe on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On the occasion of the seventh anniversary of demonetisation, Rahul Gandhi said that it was a pre-planned conspiracy to destroy the employment in the country. "Demonetisation was a well thought out conspiracy to destroy employment, to stop the income of workers, to eliminate small businesses, to harm farmers, to break the unorganized economy" posted Rahul Gandhi on his twitter page.

He said that there are lot of attacks on common man to benefit one percent of the friends of Narendra Modi. Demonetisation turned out to be a weapon to pick the pocket of common man and fill the bags of his best friends. Narendra Modi announced a ban on Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes seven years ago. A Rs 2000 note was introduced and it too is banned from September end this year. Modi announced digital payments to curb corruption and there is quite less cash flow in the country now. Rahul Gandhi took a dig on Narendra Modi on demonetisation move.
