A bank manager was shot dead by the terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir and the incident took place in Kulgam district today. The bank manager hails from Rajasthan and he is working at Ellaquai Dehati Bank in Kulgam district. The terrorists have been staging attacks on non-locals from the past few weeks. This is the second attack that took place in a week. A school teacher was shot dead by the terrorists on Monday. "Terrorists fired upon a bank employee (manager) at Ellaqie Dehati Bank at Areh Mohanpora in Kulgam district. He received grievous gunshot injuries in this terror incident. He is a resident of Hanumangarh Rajasthan. Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow. (sic)," told the Kashmir Zone Police through Twitter.

The attack sparked concerns over the non-locals in Jammu and Kashmir. Altaf Thakur, the BJP's spokesperson for the union territory posted "What a shameful act yet again. This time a bank manager of Ellaquai Dehati Bank - Vijay Kumar of Rajasthan - falls to the bullets of terrorists in Kulgam. Now terrorists targeting public servants too. A serious issue and a matter of concern. High time for security agencies to workout a strategy to stop this vicious cycle of violence". A high school teacher Rajini Bhalla was shot on Monday in Kulgam. Her family urged the government to transfer him and he was shot. Three soldiers have been injured in an explosion in Shopian of Jammu and Kashmir today.
