NDA government led by Bharatiya Janata party may well fall short of majority in upcoming Lok Sabha elections according to opinion poll.

According to Times Now - VMR Opinion poll NDA led BJP may get 252 seats that is 20 seats short of majority.

Opposition UPA led by Congress may get 147 seats.

Other parties who are not part of any alliance i.e NDA or UPA may get 144 seats.

According to survey 15,731 people are participated in the survey.

Some of the major outcomes of the survey:

Bharatiya Janata Party is facing huge task in the most populous state Uttar Pradesh where NDA won 73 seats in single state in 2014 elections But now according to survey it will reduced to 27 seats.

Only reason for this is alliance between SP and BSP who are expected to win 51 seats out of 80.

And coming to three major states Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, chattisgarh where BJP swept 2014 elections now their seat share is expected to fall but not drastically even though BJP lost all three states in recent assembly elections.

BJP is expected gain their seats share in states like Odisha and West Bengal

And also in North Eastern states where BJP won state elections with alliance partners.

In southern States BJP has no impact except in State of karnataka where BJP is winning same number of seats as congress on the basis of opinion poll.

Overall according to the survey conducted BJP needs some new allies to form the Government at the center after the crucial General Elections.
