A nation wide Gun control walkout by school students on the 19th columbine shooting anniversary on Friday, that won’t include student protests at the school of Colorado changing the view on shootings nationally. As the similar consequences happening since April 20, 1999 killed at leat of 12 students and a teacher , as a commencement tragedy memorial event columbine High School remains to be closed and students will remain to have holiday for a day as a part of traditional tribute in the community and demanding gun control and to arm teachers for security

Junior Kaylee Tyner who helped to organize a walkout protesting on the school zone on march 14 told that its a day to remember those have lost lives in the unfortunate tragedy and they were left behind involving politics that provoke division within the community.

"Every other day can be a day to push for change," said Tyner, who wishes organizers of the national walkout had reached out to the Columbine community first. "But that is a day to respect victims and their families."

The above statement was given in a letter to other high school in the district of Suburban Denver Earlier last week, the present principal of Columbine school Scott Christy and the principal at the time of massacre, Frank DeAngelis, recommended students to support their protest by joining the traditional movement, rather than participating in a walkout, as April has long been a time to respectfully remember our loss.

This message has gone around spreading to other schools nationally leading to question of confusion weather they would participate in the Gun control movement or the traditional school event Recently 17 students of Florida’s Majory Stonemens Douglas High School lost their lives in the month of February

"Honestly, I just think they're different approaches to the same problem," said Murdock. "This is their day and they've been working really hard and they deserve to raise their voice the way they see fit."
