2016 election for five states over, Results pouring

Elections for the fives states are over and the results start pouring. This is the major set of elections for the year 2016. As expected the losers is Congress. The country is heading towards Congress mukt Bharath, that is what the results shows. Congress has lost two states which it was in power. BJP has wrested Assam from congress with a spectacular performance.

BJP has put a better performance in other states and won one seat for the first time in Kerala. None of the seats were strong holds of BJP, except Assam, where it has put a good performance during 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

The grand old party, congress has lost its relevance in the Indian polity, which is exclusively dependent of dynasty. The familly centric party has lost its vision towards the progress of the country and was hit with all kinds of scams and wrong doings, while it was in power.

The election results has given a vision that people are more concerned about development than politics. Below are the prominent candidates elected from each state.
