Two suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operatives, identified as Dujana and Ukasha, have allegedly infiltrated in Jammu and Kashmir through Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, the Special Cell of Delhi Police received an intelligence input about the conspiracy to conduct terror attacks in Delhi, following which an FIR was registered, said a police source.

The FIR was registered at the Special Cell office in Lodhi Colony, under Section 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of IPC and relevant sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and doesn't name any suspects. It was submitted at the concerned anti-terror court.

The FIR states that the LeT operatives 'Dujana' and 'Ujana' have infiltrated in Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and are in touch with the operatives with the code names of Numan, Zaidi and Khursheed, in a move to ward off tech surveillance mounted by the cops.

"Two of them, identified as Dujana and Ukasha, have been reported to be based in the Kashmir Valley for quite long and are allegedly conspiring to target high profile personalities in Delhi by carrying out 'fidayeen' (suicide attacks) or grenade attacks either by themselves or through their cadres," said the police source.

The LeT plan came to light after the arrest of a fourth person in connection with the ongoing investigation into a spying racket being run by Pakistan-based ISI. The accused - identified as Sabir - was arrested from Jammu. Lashkar commanders are also believed to be in touch with the operatives with aliases Numan, Zaidi and Khursheed, to discuss the details of their plan.

Recently, two espionage rackets were busted and arrested five people from Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi and Kolkata. One of the men caught was suspected to be a handler from Pakistan's ISI, while the other was a Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, claimed the Delhi police. Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah termed the entire operation as 'baseless and unfounded'.
