After Kejriwal’s resignation drama, the executive committee of Aam Aadmi Party decided to allot less important roles for the two dissidents Yogendra Yadav and Prashanth Bhusan. According to media reports, Yadav will be given the charge of the farmer wing of the party, while his current position has got minimized in AAP decision making.

So far no decision has been taken on the new role for Prashant Bhushan, the renowned lawyer likely be given charge of party’s legal affairs. The two senior leaders of the party are still in the party as they are reluctant to come out of the party for which they have contributed a lot.

Bhushan has been at the background of all the big exposes that the party has highlighted in the past. “The AAP national executive has stated that Yogendra Yadav and I will no longer remain members of the PAC,” Bhushan said. He was earlier reluctant to come for the meeting but finally decided to come to Delhi from Palampur. 

The two senior leaders exposed the lacunae in party but praised the AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal for his specialties and commitments. They have been in news since the tapes containing Yadav leaked in media. Expelling them from party would be suicidal attempt.
