Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) which is led by Raj Thackrey has won only one seat in Maharastra Assembly election, it could be end for Raj Thackrey. says political experts by it performance.

The MNS dint win even a single seat among 13 which it won in 2009 assembly election. In return shiv sena gave won in full majority by defeating MNS candidates that won in 2009 assemble election and surprisngly siva sena won over NCP Sachin Ahir by gaining ground in worli.

By wining these three seats sena has regained it control over the Marathi heartlands, and over the politics of Marathi Manoos in Mumbai.

Despite contesting over 100 seats, the MNS won only one in Pune district and couldn't win any seats in Mumbai and Nashik region.

MNS leaders strongly feel that party chief Raj Thackeray should focus on building a strong organisation in urban areas. "We feel that is the only way to come out of this situation," said Bala Nandgaokar, MNS’s former group leader in the state assembly.

Thackeray has not been able to explain what rejuvenation he intends to bring to the state. "Also, apart from toll agitation, he has not taken up any issue or given any programme to party activists. The party is completely directionless with no vision in sight," Political experts.
