Narendra Modi's struggle to achieve 'Mission 272+' has got a new boost with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) comming out openly in support of the Gujarat chief minister. Now that the entire Sangh Parivar is rallying for the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, the top job seems closer for Modi.

RSS, the saffron party's cultural wing, has begun to interfere with the party's functioning by making it clear to senior BJP leaders that Narendra Modi is the PM candidate. The RSS clarified to the old horses that there has to be unity within the party and all party members will have to support Modi in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

On the sidelines of a meeting held in Bengaluru, RSS joint general secretary Dattatrey Hosbole on Friday stated that swayamsevak Narendra Modi had proved himself as Gujarat CM and that the Sangh is proud of him.

The RSS has directed its volunteers to assist the BJP in mobilising people, especially the first-time voters, to cast their ballot in favour of the saffron party. The outfit is taking the forthcoming polls with utmost seriousness. Even efforts are on to bring back the old faithful supporters, who might have turned away from the party.

Sangh Parivar is leaving no stone unturned to garner every single vote for 'Mission 272+'.

The students arm of the BJP, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), has been given the vital responsibility to ensure the support of young voters in the crucial states.

Even professional close to the Sangh ideology have been reached out to enlist their help to assist voters in the booths. They have been given the responsibility to reach out to the families and ensure that the members are enrolled in the voters list. The volunteers have been directed to give them the voter I-card or voting slips. Basically the party workers will stay connected with the voters.

The Sangh has planned out a three-pronged strategy - 100% voter enrolment, mobilisation of voters, and maximum turnout on the polling day.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), the religious outfit of the BJP, has also been called in to help Modi. Members of the VHP have the crucial task of rallying religious leaders and priests in helping the BJP to garner the votes of the devotees in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

With an all out support from the entire Sangh Parivar, Modi's dream of becoming India's prime minister seems a possibility.
