Narendra Modi, Arvind Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi are the most searched politicians in internet, according to an official realease by Google on Thursday. The three Indian politicians have emerged as the trending keywords as the country moves closer to the 2014 Lok Sabha election.

The Google Trends for February 2014 (till now) reveal that Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi scored 65, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal fared 52 points, while Congress vice- president Rahul Gandhi scored 41 points. The points were measured on a scale of 0-100.

The search engine giant stated that the search trend on Google for January shows Kejriwal at 72 points, followed by Gandhi at 64 points and Modi scored 56 points.

Google, the world's largest search engine, in an official release stated that as India is preparing for the 2014 General Elections to decide who captures power in the 16th Lok Sabha, three political leaders - Modi, Gandhi and Kejriwal - are dominating the online search trends.

As the world's largest democracy goes into polls search queries on Modi for PM (Prime Minister) revealed to be three times more than Rahul Gandhi for PM, said Google.

Rahul Gandhi age has also emerged as a leading search query as he's projected as a youth leader by the Congress party.

Other Indian leaders searched among the youth brigade includes Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Priyanka Vadra, Sachin Pilot, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Naveen Jindal. Besides political leaders like Supriya Sule, Priya Dutt, Milind Deora and Dushyant Singh, who are lesser known names, also feature on Google Search among the the top 10 youth leaders.

In the last three months, Google received a remarkable number of search queries for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, NCP chief Sharad Pawar, BJP leader L K Advani, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav.

The 2014 LS polls are expected to be an interesting contest between Modi, Gandhi and Kejriwal, the dark horse, Google added.
