The case is 26/11 terror attack.  The witnesses are City Magistrate, R.V.Sawant Waghule who recorded Lashkar e Taiba’s Ajmal Kasab’s confession, The Chief Investigating Officer of the 26/11 case, Ramesh mahale and two doctors who conducted autopsy on Pakistan terrorists.  Deposition of these witnesses is done before the Judicial Commission of Pakistan consisting of eight members.

The witnesses were introduced by the Special Public Prosecutor to the Pakistan Commission.
The scheduled legal procedure today is that the visiting commission will cross examine the witnesses that were not allowed in their first visit.  The Pakistan commission includes two officers of anti terror court, two defense witnesses and a special public prosecutor of that country.

The purpose is to use the evidence to prosecute LeT leader Lakhvi and others who are facing trial in Pakistan Courts for their terrorist activities.  As the witnesses in India were not allowed previously for cross examination their report on their first visit was rejected by the anti terror court in Pakistan.

Now the cross examination is being done to facilitate the proceedings to continue on the terrorists facing cases in Pakistan courts.  The evidence is being recorded by Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate P.Y.Ladekar.
