In an exciting development, NTR Jr. and Kortala Siva recently unveiled the teaser of their highly anticipated film, Devara, on January 8, 2024. The teaser received a tremendously positive response from both the trade and the audience, especially in the Hindi markets, thanks to its stunning visuals that captivated viewers across the board.

However, it is learned that the release of Devara, originally scheduled for April 5, 2024, has been postponed. According to sources close to the project, the film's extensive visual effects work is taking longer than expected, as the filmmakers are determined to deliver a visual spectacle that surpasses all expectations. NTR Jr., being mindful of his next project after the highly anticipated RRR, wants to ensure that Devara offers a grand cinematic experience. As a result, the team is now targeting a release in the second half of 2024.

Additionally, the film's production is still facing a slight delay due to about 20 days of remaining shoot and an injury to Saif Ali Khan, who plays the antagonist in Devara. The production team is keen to avoid rushing the shoot and compromising the final edit and visual quality. Their priority is to release a film that lives up to the promises made.

While the plot of Devara is being kept under wraps for now, it boasts a stellar cast, including NTR Jr., Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan. The film is a two-part epic set against the backdrop of coastal lands, promising a thrilling blend of action and drama. In other news, NTR Jr. is also set to appear in YRF's Spy Universe Film, War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, this highly anticipated project is expected to begin filming in April 2024.
