Story

Hyper is the story of Surya (Ram) who is a fun loving guy who has extreme love towards his father Narayana Murthy (Satyaraj) who is a sincere government officer. It is his love for his dad that lands him trouble. It is during this time a powerful minister (Rao Ramesh) who locks horns with Narayana Rao for a file that has to be signed by him. He stands firm and strong opposing the minister after which the minister targets his family. The rest of Hyper is all about Surya’s treatment for the minister saving his family. Analysis

The first half of Hyper has some sensible entertainment throughout. The plot has been completely predictable however the action episodes and Ram’s performance makes the film watchable. Rashi has been limited to songs and glamorous acts. The songs have been placed well but they have not been well shot. Some of the emotional episodes looked decent and interval episodes make Hyper interesting. On the whole the first half of Hyper has some interesting moments and the movie looks decent.

Things go bad when it comes to the second half as the film turns a boring feast. The entire second half looks predictable and lacks interesting narration. The huge dose of commercial elements sideline the major plot and the movie takes a different turn. The pre-climax episodes turn interesting and the title song of the film raise the heat. The climax looks decent and on the whole Hyper has some interesting moments with a predictable narration all the way.

Performance

Energetic Star Ram takes the step with his outstanding performance. He leads the show with his stupendous dance moves and he has been extremely stupendous in action episodes. Rashi Khanna has been a glamorous treat throughout and she has been sizzling hot in the songs. Though she has ben completely restricted to songs, she delivered out her best. Satyaraj has been extremely dominating with his performance and he carried the emotional episodes well. Rao Ramesh has been powerful as the lead antagonist in the film and all the other actors delivered out their best for Hyper.

The story of the film has nothing new to reveal and it is completely predictable, outdated. The screenplay and the dialogues have been written well at parts but they do not make a complete impact at the much needed time. Couple of songs have been shot well and the cinematography has been eye catchy. The production values have been grand and Santosh Srinivas comes out with a predictable mass entertainer which has some decent moments.
