Analysis

Rojulu Marayi Movie Review

The first half of Rojulu Marayi has some decent entertainment and it is Parvatheesam who takes the lead. He has been highly entertaining and Tejaswi too performed well. The other pair Chetan and Kruthika has been decent. The songs have been shot well and the entire film has been fresh. Though the twist is known, it doesn’t make much impact and the interval episodes make the film decent. On the whole the first half of Rojulu Marayi has been impressive.

The second half of Rojulu Marayi falls down drastically as time passes. The entire story of the movie has been dragged too much with unwanted episodes and entertainment. The songs have not been shot well and the levels of entertainment dip down completely. The movie catches up pace during the climax which fails to make much impact. On the whole the second half of Rojulu Marayi fails in all the available ways.

Performance

Parvatheesam is the major highlight of the movie and he carried the entire first half on his shoulders. He has been energetic throughout and took the film to the next level. Tejaswi has been energetic, glamorous and entertaining throughout the film. She has done the character of Rambha with ease. Chetan makes a decent debut with Rojulu Marayi and he has been fit enough in the role of Aswath. Kruthika Jayakumar did a decent role and she has been impressive. All the other actors did their assigned jobs well.

The story of Rojulu Marayi has nothing much or new to reveal. The screenplay and the dialogues have been just ok. They make the complete film predictable. The music has been decent and so is the background score. The cinematography takes the film to the next level and it has been decent. The production values have been grand enough and the director fails in executing the second half in an engaging way.

Final Word

Rojulu Marayi has an electrifying first half but it fails to recreate it during the second half which makes the film fall flat. A film that can be ignored.
