Anthony Burgess has truly said: "Laugh and the world laughs with you, snore and you sleep alone."

A long day at work followed by hours of slaving in the kitchen calls for a good night rest. However, if you have to put up with a partner who snores like a wounded warthog every night, you are stuck!

Thankfully, to battle this, Michael Carter-Smith, a saxophonist invented an expensive but an effective piece of jewelry that claims to silent the snores and provide better sleep. Priced at £30, it's been found that people who wear the Good Night ring on their little finger slept much better and peacefully.

Designed on the principles of acupressure - 'an ancient Chinese medicine which holds that the body is studded with pressure points that are connected to different areas and organs of the body through pathways called meridians. Blockages in these pathways can cause ill health but can be eased by activating the correct pressure point, according to the theory.'

The Good Night rings comes with two bumps that exerts pressure on points at the base of the little finger. This opens up the nasal passageways, making it easier for wearers to breathe through their nose, rather than snort and snore through their mouth. Truly a heaven-sent device, isn't it?
