Selection committee today announced the players list for ODI Tri-series (India-Australia-England) and World Cup tournaments. 15 member squad will participate in the World Cup Matches which are to be held in Australia and New Zealand from 14th February to 28th March.
Stuart Binny headed the Select committee, the list of the players as follows.

India's World Cup squad:

1. Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain)
2. Virat Kohli
3. Shikhar Dhawan
4. Rohit Sharma
5. Ajinkya Rahane
6. Suresh Raina
7. Ravichandran Ashwin
8. Bhuvneshwar Kumar
9. Ishant Sharma
10. Mohammed Shami
11. Umesh Yadav
12. Ambati Rayudu
13. Ravindra Jadeja
14. Axar Patel
15. Stuart Binny

Surprisingly Yuvraj Singh was not in the list, Yuvraj played crucial role in the 2011 world cup wining. Yuvraj Singh was suffering from the Cancer at that time. After the World Cup series he undergone for treatment and successfully returned to the team.

Indian squad is now looking strong with good Batsmen, Spin and Pace Bowling departments. Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel shall be accompanied by the part time spinners Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma.

Ravindra Jadeja and Ishanth Sharma are under going for rehabilitation. The selection committee expected the duo will be having good fitness during the series.

Sachin Tendulkar, Sehwag, Yuvraj were played in the last world cup held in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Team spirit was shown in the last time. Now we have see how our players work for this time.
