India started day with 6 wickets in hand and 311 runs in Gabba test second day. Batsmen added just 97 runs for 6 wickets loss today in the morning session, but managed well to keep Australia to 221/4 at Stumps.

Warner started brilliantly but could not continue. Rogers scored a good half ton but the Ausis lost him and Watson in quick time. Shaun impressed with a few good shots and when he was dropped by Rahane it seemed like he might score big from there on but then he got out to a good catch from Ashwin. Smith continued to play his aggressive play style to get to his fifty.

Steve Smith is on crease with 65 runs and Mitchell Marsh with 7 runs unbeaten. Umesh Yadav is in good form, he took 3 wickets today.
