A woman from New York wasn't just happy with the expression "twinkle in the eye". She wanted it for real. So she went ahead and did what very few can fathom or dare to do.

Lucy Luckayanko spent a fortune to get a tiny little piece of a heart-shaped platinum sequin inserted into her eye, so that she could have that twinkle in her eye forever. She apparently blew $3,000 for the one-minute long procedure.

And she is all too happy about it. "It's going to be a conversation maker. I will be able to tell people. It will be unique. It will be sort of my unique factor," she said.
