Relationships go through ups and downs. Sometimes after reaching a low phase a relationship may not bounce back, indicating that it's time to break up. A great relationship results from the efforts of both the partners. Long-term relationship is possible only if both the partners are interested and willing to invest time and energy into it. If either of you is not interested in the relationship, it's best to end it. Here are some signs that tell you it's time to make a dignified exit.

Lack of Communication

Communication is like oxygen to a relationship. A healthy relationship is that in which both the partners communicate with each other several times in a day. If you love and care for your partner are bound to miss him/her. But is your partner doesn't feel the need to communicate even once during the day saying he has a busy schedule, it's a sign that he/she has no feelings left for you.

Trust lacking

Relationships are based on trust. If your partner doesn't trust you and keep questioning you about your activities then the relationship has a problem. And if your partner refuses to believe you inspite of telling him/her about your whereabouts, then the relationship needs to be ended.

Cheating

If your partner is cheating on you, it's a sign that his/her emotional needs are not being satisfied by you. Sit down and talk about it with patience. But if your partner continues to cheat on you then it's best to move on. For it's aptly said - once a cheater always a cheater.

Abuses

When your partner starts abusing you then there is a problem in the relationship. Any form of abuse - physical or emotional, is not acceptable in a relationship. And if your partner hits you, then it's a sign that he does not value you or has any feelings left for you. Physical abuse in a relationship is a strong reason to end it. Do not continue in such a relationship as it may scar you for life.
