Once you begin dating someone, breaking up becomes difficult. And if you are not actually dating then the break-up can be messy if you don't handle it carefully. In such casual dating the prospective partner call themselves 'just good friends.' While there is no talks about commitment, but you find it difficult to detach yourself from the person. Most people go through such socialization sprees. When you decide to break-up from such relations it needs to be handled carefully otherwise it can be really ugly. Here are some relationship tips to help you in your break-up.

Assess your feelings for the person

Evaluate your feelings to see whether you really feel something for this person. If you don't feel anything then be honest and tell this person. But if you have feeling then take the first step and have a serious talk with the person. If he/she agrees to take it to the next level then well and good or else its better to move on.

Should you remain friends

Sometimes people decide to remain friends post break-up. But its better to stay away from each other as remaining friends after a break-up is bound to be uncomfortable for both of you. But before you take a decision, assess the situation properly.

Break-up face-to-face

Discussions related to the relationship has to be done face-to-face with the person. Never end the relationship over phone or via emails. It leaves ample scope of doubt. So it's advisable to meet the person break up after making your points clear.

Remain out of touch

If you decided not to remain friends then stick to your decision and stay away from each other. While there is nothing wrong in remaining friends but after such breakups it is better to stay out of touch.

Honest discussion

Have an honest discussion with the person regarding the relationship and its direction. Maybe there is no romance in the relationship and neither of you will suffer a heart-break.

Have a clean break-up after meeting and discussing the issue in person. Don't just stop talking and begin to avoid the person whom you have been dating, but not officially.
