Hair fall is a natural cycle in the life of your hair strands. But most women and men start panicking when they see hair on their comb or pillow in the morning. Hair is the crowning glory of your beauty. So when you see hair fall it's but natural to be concerned. However, unless your hair loss is much more than 100 strands in a day, there is no need for you to panic.

Remember, human hair follow a cycle - rest, shed and grow – like any other part of your body. But as we age this cycle slows down like the rest of your body.

Hair experts say that the best hair-years begin during teenage (15 year onwards) to late twenties.When you hit mid-thirties the hair cycle slows down. This is the time when most of us start panicking.

Depending on your body type hair experts recommend a balanced healthy diet. People with acidic body need to include foods that restore the alkaline balance. Those who are acidic need to consume fresh vegetables and fresh salads to restore the alkaline balance of their body. Food items like breads, potatoes, milk and dairy products should be avoided by such people.

Here are some superfood for healthy hair

Spinach:

Spinach is rich in iron and keeps hair follicles and the scalp healthy. It's fortified with vitamins and minerals, and also provides folate, beta carotene and vitamin C to the body. Try to consume spinach three to four times in a week for healthy hair.

Walnuts:

Walnuts contain essential oils that promote hair growth and prevent hair loss. Weak hair is essentially due to lack of these oils. Walnut or any other nuts help to fight hair fall. But don't overdo it as it makes hair lanky.

Eggs:

Eggs are great for your hair as it provides Vitamin D to your body.

Halibut:

Halibut and other fish that provides magnesium to the body are healthy for your hair. It stimulates hair growth. So up you magnesium content to prevent hair loss.

Carrots:

Carrots are rich in beta carotene and enable your body to produce vitamin A. People with healthy hair have ample amount of vitamin A, which result in scalp-sustaining oils.

Bok Choy:

Bok Choy is the first preference of hair experts while suggesting food for hair. This veggie is rich in iron and good for hair.
