Tamil Nadu media had a field day on September 15 as Chennai rolled out a red carpet welcome to Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger who flew down to the state capital to grace the audio release function of Shankar's forthcoming “Ai.”

The media and layman had anticipated a memorable moment wjen Rajinikanth and Arnold would jointly unveil the album. But they were clearly disappointed by what they actually saw.

The album was, in fact, released by Rajinikanth, Shankar, AR Rahman and Kannada superstar Puneet Rajkumar. The international icon was nowhere in sight on the dais. Not just that, we hear that Arnold walked out of the event halfway, making us wonder what went wrong.

Did the actor have other commitments to fulfill? Was he flying early out of Chennai? Or was it something else.

A source reveals that Arnold was feeling claustrophobic inside the auditorium. The air-conditioners were not working. However, he stuck there as long as he could. Furthermore, we hear is that he was perturbed by a kissing incident, when an Indian bodybuilder grabbed his hand and kissed. He hurriedly left the event after that, we hear.

Regardless of the hitches and delay, the cine event became a huge success with the media and the industry heaping praises on producer Aascar Ravichandran for forking out a fortune to make the event this grand.
