A bag with arms and ammunition was found abandoned in the JNU campus, which is infamous for anti-national movements, on Sunday night. The local police were informed and later a case of arms act was registered.
On Sunday night, when the security guards were patrolling the area near the north gate of JNU campus they had found an abandoned bag. While checking the bag, they found that it contained one pistol and seven cartridges.
The bag was found around 50 metres from the north gate of JNU campus. One 7.65 calibre country-made pistol along with seven catridges was found in the bag.
