See How Indo-Pak Border Looks From Space At Night

Stunning photo of the India-Pakistan border at night is shared by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Photo that was posted on NASA Facebook page on Sunday, revealed how the international border between India and Pakistan looked as seen from outer space.

A Nikon D4 digital camera was used to take the photo on 23 September using a 28 millimetre lens. The nighttime panorama was taken by an astronaut aboard the International Space Station, while looking north diagonally at Indus River valley of Pakistan.

The photograph reveals one of the very few such places where international boundary can be seen at night on Earth. Security lights along the border lit the winding border between India and Pakistan, with a discrete orange tone.

One more photo shared in 2011 by NASA, displays the border zone that looks southeast from the Himalaya.
