A Gang-rape incident, which came into light this morning, took place yesterday night by 6 men reportedly belonging to Dakshinpuri in south Delhi.
A 26-year-old contract employee of an event managing firm was abducted by a group of 6-men in a white Santro car from the Defence Colony area of south Delhi.

An auto-driver has informed police and helped them to trace the vehicle in midnight. While searching for the accused and woman, they found the woman lying on the roadside in Dakshinpuri area near Pushpa Bhawan.

The auto-driver actually dropped her to Moolchand Hospital traffic signal at 10.30 pm yesterday and was asked to stay around so as to catch the same vehicle for her return journey. After completion of her work she made a call to the driver of auto-rickshaw, who was nearby by the location, but a group of men approached her and forcibly taken her away to a house.

The woman informed the police that she could identify the house, and police have taken her to the suspected house and found the car and four of the accused. Some of the accused are identified as Akash (23), Deepak (20) and Aman (26).

Auto driver’s sense to note the car number and the direction helped the police to hunt them.
