People in love do weird things. A man was so much in love with his girlfriend that he kidnapped her corpse after her death. That what an internet user would want us to believe.

Last Friday Reddit member BoiledEggs posted a creepy picture of a man with the corpse of his girlfriend. It had the caption: ‘Dude in CA. (California) steals his dead GF from morgue'.

The Reddit user uploaded the picture to his social media page and it generated a lot of interest online.

However, soon it became evident that the corpse was not real in the back seat. It was actually an innocent prop.

Apparently the image was click in August by a production assistant, who revealed the same on Gawker. He says the picture was uploaded by a friend who put the story online without his permission.

Quite creepy!
