Ever heard of a dog who refuses to go out and play. Meet Jack, a black Labrador, who refused to venture outdoor for some unknown reason.

Judy Huddleston, the 42-year-old owner of Jack, couldn't take him outdoor for a walk as he would shake and whine when it was time for his exercise everyday. For a whole year Jack stayed indoor due to an anxiety disorder called agoraphobia.

The 18-month-old pet of Judy, was terrified at the prospect of going outside that he would even play dead when it was time for his walks.

Jack's owner took the help of dog psychologist Lynne Marshall to help him overcome his anxiety problem. Now she can take Jack for a walk without much resistance.

Marshall was able to persuade Jack to go out of the house by using cheese treats.

Huddleston, who resides in Melton Mowbray, said that she is not sure as to what was the reason for  Jack’s phobia. However, it seems the Labrador was spooked by something when he was a puppy, she added.

According to Huddleston, Jack was an extreme case among the many dog anxiety disorder cases she had dealt with. She was saddened by the thought of a dog not being able to go out and play.

Due to his phobia, Jack was unable to experienced a walk and enjoy the sights and smells of the outdoors.
