Daniel Craig is likely to appear in a special role in in Star Wars: Episode VII. Talks are on to rope in the James Bond star for a cameo in the science fiction film.

Craig, who is a big fan of the sci-fi saga, has reportedly shot a secret role in the upcoming film, which will be the seventh instalment from the franchise.

Daniel apparently asked the film makers for a mystery cameo role and wanted his name left off in the posters. Now his fans can try to find out his mystery character in the film.
The 46-year old actor had asked the Star Wars director JJ Abrams to give him a small part in the film, because he loves the series.

Star Wars 7 features the original actors Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker and Peter Mayhew reprising their respective roles. The latest instalment from the star wars franchisee will also star actors Lupita Nyong'o, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis and Max von Sydow.

Star Wars: Episode VII will release on 18 December, 2015.
